Carers of West Lothian

Carers of West Lothian provide support, information, advice, and a listening ear for unpaid carers of all ages across West Lothian. The organisation produces an information pack giving information on support services, benefits and useful contact details for carers in West Lothian. It offers a directory of respite services in the area, detailing breaks available to carers in West Lothian, provides free training courses for carers, and publishes a free quarterly newsletter for carers.

The organisation actively seeks to identify and offer support to 'hidden' carers through working closely with health and social care staff.

In partnership with West Lothian Council's Integrated Children and Young People Support team and Community Education, Carers of West Lothian provides individual and group support to young carers aged ten to 16 years.
