West Lothian Venue for NHS Board meeting
NHS Lothian's next board meeting is set to take place in Livingston, West Lothian on Wednesday 25 January, as part of its policy to hold board meetings in different parts of Lothian.
Board meetings are open to members of the public so they can hear more about health services in Lothian. Charles Winstanley, Chair, NHS Lothian, said: "We are delighted to be holding our board meeting in West Lothian which is open to the public. This allows local communities the opportunity to hear at first hand about the latest healthcare developments which directly affect them." Prior to the formal board meeting on 25 January, there will be an open session on developments and health services from West Lothian Community Health and Care Partnership (CHCP) with the opportunity to put questions to the CHCP's director and chair. Theresa Douglas, Chair of West Lothian Community Health and Care Partnership said: "We are very pleased to welcome the board meeting to West Lothian, enabling members of the local community to find out the most up-to-date position on our healthcare services. We will be giving a presentation, providing details on some of our developments such as the dental unit at St John?s Hospital and Quigley House This will be followed by a question and answer session for members of the public."
