Developing 21st Century Mental Health Services for Older People in West Lothian
The Public Partnership Forum for Health & Care invites you to attend a stakeholder event
on Friday 14 October 2011, 10.00-3.00 pm at West Lothian College - Business Centre.
NHS Lothian and their partners have developed a new mental health and wellbeing strategy for Lothian 2011-2016. This strategy is called a - "A Sense of Belonging". The strategy is about people of all ages and sets out a clear vision of how NHS Lothian wants to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all Lothian?s population. For the first two years of the strategy's implementation NHS Lothian are focusing on older peopleas a priority and they are fully committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of older people living in West Lothian. This commitment incorporates community and hospital services for older people with mental health problems and mental illness. The Public Partnership Forum for Health & Care would like to invite anyone with an interest in older people?s service provision in West Lothian to attend this event. This is your opportunity to engage with NHS Lothian about what is important for West Lothian?s older people. Your ideas, thoughts and comments will help shape future service provision and ensure the right services for older people living in West Lothian are developed and supported.
