Capital Liaison Programme Officers

The council has a team of Capital Programme Liaison Officers (CPLO) to plan all major capital projects for council homes in the area. Capital programmes are projects that add to or improve a property, such as building work, or the installation of new heating systems, windows or doors. The liaison staff produce and send out lists of all capital work being carried out in each town to local housing offices, council information centres and the customer service centre.

For council tenants who require an adaptation to their home, Occupational Therapists will work closely with the council's Capital Programme Liaison Officers (see below).

There are local CPLOs at each housing office. These officers will also deal with complaints about faulty equipment still under the one year guarantee. They will also undertake inspections and report on the installation of aids and adaptations for the council's social work service.
