Healthy Respect is committed to, and dependent upon, partnership working to deliver programmes of education, information and services to young people.
The Healthy Respect network aims to implement evidence-informed interventions and thus ultimately facilitate a culture change, creating an environment that will lead to long term improvements in the sexual health and wellbeing of young people in West Lothian.

Nurse Advice Line at Chalmers Sexual Health Centre, Edinburgh operates Monday-Friday, 8.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-4.00pm.

All pharmacies in West Lothian supply free emergency contraception to all females aged 13 years and over. This can be taken up to 72 hours following unprotected sexual intercourse. For emergency contraception up to five days after unprotected sex, call the Sexual Health Clinic on 0131 536 1070.
WHAT IS C:CARD?
C:card is a free condom service in Edinburgh and the Lothians. C:card is friendly, confidential and easy to use and you can find C:card points in colleges, universities, youth agencies and health settings.
There are two kinds of C:card point:
- C:card Direct is only for people aged 16 and over who want free condoms
- C:card Plus is for people aged 13-15 who want free condoms
